Cathy Gerroir began her swimming career in the early 1970's as a swimmer with the Scarborough Swim Club, and swam up to the National level until her retirement from competition. Cathy has been actively coaching and teaching swimming since 1982, and is a fully certified Red Cross/Royal Lifesaving Instructor, Advanced Lifesaving Instructor, National Lifeguarding, Standard First Aid, CPR C. and NCCP Level 2 along with many of the multi sport workshops. Cathy owns and operates CG SWIM SCHOOL, a very successful private swimming lesson enterprise that has been in business in the Town of Whitby since 1992. Cathy has been a Professional Swimming Coach since the late 1980’s with clubs in Scarborough, Pickering and Whitby- before revitalizing her career with a position at Ajax Swimming in 2013.
